Polynucleotides & PLLA Biostimulators Darlington | HL Medical Aesthetics
Polynucleotides & PLLA Biostimulators Darlington
At HL Medical Aesthetics in Darlington, we offer two of the most advanced skin rejuvenation treatments available: Polynucleotides and PLLA Biostimulators. Both treatments work at a cellular level to repair, rebuild, and rejuvenate the skin — delivering healthier, stronger, and more youthful-looking results.
All treatments are delivered by Hayley Lamb, Registered Nurse and Independent Prescriber.
Polynucleotides
Polynucleotides (PDRN) are DNA fragments derived from salmon or trout, designed to repair and regenerate skin at a cellular level. They deeply hydrate, stimulate cell repair and regeneration, strengthen the skin barrier, reduce inflammation, and improve overall skin quality and texture.
Polynucleotides are particularly effective for delicate areas such as the under-eyes, where skin is thin and prone to damage — making them ideal where other treatments cannot safely reach.
Our Polynucleotide Treatment
- Vitaran Under Eyes (2ml) — £120 — A targeted polynucleotide treatment for the delicate under-eye area, reducing dark circles, hollowness, and crepey skin.
PLLA Biostimulators
Biostimulators work by stimulating your body’s own natural collagen production, improving skin firmness, volume, and elasticity over time. Results develop gradually and last significantly longer than traditional fillers — making them one of the most cost-effective anti-ageing investments available.
Our Biostimulator Treatments
- Kiara Reju Bio-Stimulator — £150 — A next-generation biostimulator that reactivates the skin’s natural collagen processes for improved structure and youthful volume.
- Sculptra Collagen Restoration — £500 — The gold standard in PLLA collagen stimulation, delivering long-lasting volume restoration and skin quality improvement over several months.
- Aesplla PLLA Collagen Stimulation — £250 — An advanced PLLA treatment that rebuilds collagen structure and restores skin thickness and firmness progressively.
Polynucleotides vs Biostimulators — What’s the Difference?
Polynucleotides focus on skin repair, hydration, and regeneration — perfect for improving skin quality and treating delicate areas. Biostimulators focus on collagen production, volume, and firmness — ideal for structural support and anti-ageing. Many clients benefit from combining both for comprehensive skin rejuvenation.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long do results last?
Polynucleotide results typically last 6–12 months. PLLA biostimulators such as Sculptra can last 2 years or more, as they stimulate your own collagen rather than adding a temporary filler.
How many sessions will I need?
Polynucleotides typically require 2–3 sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart. Biostimulators are often administered in 1–3 sessions depending on the product and your goals. A personalised plan will be created at your consultation.
Are these treatments painful?
A topical anaesthetic is applied before treatment to minimise discomfort. Most clients find both treatments very well tolerated.
Where are you based?
HL Medical Aesthetics is based in Darlington and welcomes clients from across the North East, including Durham, Stockton-on-Tees, and Bishop Auckland.
